Hawthorn has won Fashion Supplier of the Year at the Drapers Awards

We are incredibly honoured to announce that Hawthorn has won the title of ‘Fashion Supplier of the Year’ at the Drapers Awards! Celebrating the best in fashion retailing, the Drapers Awards are aimed at recognising the top performing and most innovative businesses in the UK. This is a huge achievement for us; winning the most prestigious award in the industry is fantastic recognition for all of the hard work that our team here in the UK and overseas puts in every day.

When we started Hawthorn, we set about creating a manufacturer who could help brands who were in a similar position to us at the time. Small brands who are often forgotten or overlooked by manufacturers who are only interested in huge bulk orders. To be recognised by an organisation like Drapers is something for us to hold dearly. One of the quotes given by the judges was “Hawthorn is out there doing something different. It’s pitched at the individual, and truly supportive of start-ups and young designers.” To hear that from Drapers shows us that we have truly achieved what we set out to do.

We’ll continue to develop our service to better help the start ups and emerging designers we work with. Fashion suppliers are often overlooked, being behind the scenes in an industry that is very brand focused. We’d like to thank Drapers for recognising us as the best in the business, and we hope that this can be a sign of good things to come for Hawthorn and our customers.
